This project was a collaboration with the Hungarian Habitat for Humanity team, a non-profit organization focusing on building affordable homes for families struggling with housing problems. Our task was to create a modular housing concept that is composed of unified modules, which can be assembled into a single building or a larger building of several housing units. The smallest module has a floor area of 30 m² and can be increased into 45, 60, 75 and 90 m² units.

In the first phase of the design, we planned independently of location and plot. For this reason, I tried to design a system that could be easily adapted to different scales and conditions. My modules follow a strict, rigid system of a regular 7x7 metre square, making them more variable in terms of installation. The apartments are extended within this square, with the smaller apartments on the ground floor and the larger ones with an additional floor.
