Downtown Pavilion

Building this pavilion in the heart of Budapest was a new experience, since we never had a construction project in such an urban environment before. The house with its beautiful courtyard gives home to the Association of Hungarian Architects, whoom we built this pavilion for. Our aim was to create a coverage of space, that doesn’t block the view, interrupt the traffic of the space and benefits the middlemost nature of the court.

In 2018 the pavilion was moved to the scoutpark of Nagykovácsi in the suburb of Budapest. Since then it functions as a bar every summer during a small festival called Kolorádó.
